Sumario: This paper presents the summarized process for implementation of speed control for square-cage induction motor brand: WEG, series: NBR 7094, based in the technique of indirect vector control (CVI) also called Field Oriented Control (FOC) with fuzzy logic, being modeled in Simulink/Matlab R2015b software, and implemented in a programmable logic controller (PLC). Taking advantage of the schemes that presents the technique of FOC for alternating current motor (AC) and allow treat it like a direct current motor (DC) of separately exited by their response to dynamic disturbance; artificial intelligence (fuzzy logic) is compared with classical proportional, integral (PI) controller to determine which one is the best technique.
