The project presented is a data acquisition module which consists of parts such as: digital inputs and outputs module, analog inputs and output module, process master module, communications master module and power supply.
This data acquisition module can be connected to different SCADA systems using OPC Servers of different brands, and has direct connection to National Instruments USB-VISA, it has the correct settings to act as a USB RAW device for Labview.
The module will be connected to SCADA systems and other devices that work with Modbus Protocol, making it a slave module which may be assigned addresses, these will be in a range of 0 to 15 where the address 0 is reserved for general messages of special distributionfunctions.
The discrete input card (MDE) is divided in 2 groups of 8 24 VDC inputs, with a negative reference point for each group.
The discrete Output Card (MDS) consists of 8 relays that activate a 2 amps normally open contact.
The Analog input card (MAE) has 4 inputs of 0 to 10 volts or 0 to 20mA, using jumpers can select the type of input as needed, the decimal equivalent of the data resolution is 12 bits.
The analog output card (MAS) has 4 outputs from 0 to 10 volts or 0 to 20mA, using jumpers can select the output type as required and the data resolution is 12 bits.
In the control module and monitoring for process can connect sensors such as RTD, thermocouple, load cell also has analog and digital inputs and outputs, and have control and monitoring over a DC motor, a stepper motor, a servomotor and a luminaire. |
