The Board of Trustees for Drinking Water of the Western Neighborhoods
in Aloasí in April 1987 is an autonomous legal entity that
operates and maintains the potable water system.
For the supply it captures water from the slopes located in the skirts
East of the Cerro el Corazón (streams: La Virgen, La Derrumbadera,
Magmas, Cumbiteo and del Arco), these supply the western neighborhoods with:
Umbria, San Luis La Moya, San Roque, The Station, El Falcón, Cucalá Alto, La
Zamora, Miraflores Alto, Miraflores Bajo.
The current potable water system was designed 20 years ago, supplying
adequately to the population of that time; with the increase in
population has presented the deficit causing problems of
shortage of vital fluid in the last six years. |
