This article "Citizen participation in the segment the community of the newscast 24 hours of Teleamazonas. Evening time Slot "presents a follow-up to each of the notes presented in the segment the community, over a week, in order to determine the role of the media, at the time of submitting the note, i.e., if the medium complies with mediator to provide solutions to the citizens or simply focuses on the status of the issues. The methodology used in this research was descriptive observation, which included the development of a matrix, in which the main variants were: time designated to each note and the news monitoring, could thus be concluded that the community of the 24-hour news segment, tracked to the presented notes, fulfills the role of mediator to give solutions to the requests of the citizens, acts which reflect the existence of citizen participation in the medium. |
