The Microcuenca of Blanco River includes the communities Ancholag Alto, Ancholag Bajo, Santa Anita Ancholag, Santo Domingo Nº1 and the neighborhoods Puntiachil, Santo Domingo de Guzman, Nápoles, Miraflores, Granobles, Sigzal Bajo and the urban area of Cayambe and Ayora. For the implementation of this study was supported by the municipality, students of agricultural engineering degree from the Salesian University, and collaboration with communities and neighborhoods belong to the watershed. It also was supported by National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMHI) and the National Secretariat for Water (SENAGUA), who allowed access to the meteorological database of the Cayambe area and water concessions made in the Microcuenca Blanco River. |
