With this objective, we have analyzed those politics and their implementation in Feminine Social Rehabilitation Center of Quito (CRSFQ its initials in Spanish), measuring its efficiency.
The regulations of the sentence implementation and Social Rehabilitation Code demands the implementation of an individualized treatment for each prisoner; but far from any scientific study or appropriated methodologies, the conditions of prison like overcrowding, and lack of professionals, have make it worse. The rise of illegal drugs traffic and tough criminal law with no chance of other legal alternatives have filled up the rehabilitation centers. |
