Sumario: The local metalworking industry, in its line of motorcycle parts produces different steel components, this project focuses on the tilting of the bikes, which are made in its two rectangular tubes of 30x50x2 mm ASTM A-500 on its sides , these components have at the top a groove produced by plasma cutting, said slot is done manually with the help steel templates with the trajectory required along the lines of each tilting, so that the success of the cut depends largely on the skill possessed by the operator designated for the task. With the help of technology CNC (computer numerical control), proceed to automate the process of plasma cutting, for which it is designed and built this machine in order to avoid possible failures of the operator, so the confusion templates during the cutting process. Thus increasing efficiency in the production of grooved tubes by reducing time in the manufacturing process, in the same way and by automating greater security is provided, by not intervening hand of man during cutting, the operator is only responsible to program the machine properly to avoid collisions during movement. In this way it contributes to development in the metalworking industry which is currently under study by the authors of this project.
