Sumario: The present thesis work contains the studies to carry out the design at level of feasibility of the road Mulaute – La Florida, Tramo 3, complying with the rules established for each type of study. For the development of this project, it has received basic information provided by the UPS through the Career of Civil Engineering such as: topography, traffic count, and soil survey. With the proportionate information you proceeds to classify the types of vehicles that go by the road, it stops then to determine the number of equivalent axes or ESAL'S, which is a parameter of fundamental entrance for the design of pavements. Within the geological- geotechnical study is given to know the mechanical characteristics of the subrasante, and the requirements that should complete the materials that will be part of the structure of the pavement The design of pavements is carried out based on the methodology AASHTO-93 for the two types of structure proposals: flexible pavement and rigid pavement. In the geometric design of the road, settles down the section type and minimum bending radii, as much in plant as in profile. It has been carried out the design the drainage works, the signaling, and the plan of environmental handling, based on hydrological studies, INEN standards and studies of environmental impact respectively. Finally it is presented the budget and the analysis of profitability of the project.
