Sumario: The importance of having an efficient network which provides quality services and an optimal response of time has become one of the fundamental needs for small, medium and large companies. In order to solve these problems exist several technologies, however in this project we will do the study of MPLS that provides multiple solutions related to the transport of multiple services over a single network, also that its architecture allows to take quick decisions like the packet routing through the use of labels. The purpose of this project will be focused on carrying out the summary of the main concepts of IPv4, IPv6, MPLS and IS-IS and then propose a network design with a scenario in IPv4 and other in IPv6 conforms to the geographical distribution of a provider who is in the ability to provide transport services and who conforms the needs detailed in the design approach. The simulation of the two scenarios will take place using the software GNS3 after it, will be held tests related to connectivity and services that will be raised to finally make use of charts and statistical tables that will serve for the analysis of results.
