This study evaluates the physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of domestic wastewater from one sector of the city of Quito, the pollutant load and time charge flows in the sector was also determined. This paper presents the methodology and results of sampling, conducted through standardized analysis methods adapted from the American Public Health Association ( APHA ), the American Water Works Association (WEF). Of the parameters studied , most are within the typical composition of domestic wastewater , compared to what literature reports . The results also indicated that does not show sufficient quality for biological treatment.
On the other hand , the values of hourly loads flows have typical consumption values and time variation of water use in the homes of the Metropolitan District of Quito. The research results provide a basis for other studies and is a starting point for the selection of a treatment system for wastewater. |
