Sumario: The present research is organised into three chapters: in the first chapter we find a conceptual framework that gives us a vision with respect to several related concepts with the participation of women, gender problems, the organization and community development and theories that support this work. Chapter two provides a general but very clear vision of the context in which the indigenous women develop from the indigenous community of Mogato, located at the parish of Pasa, Tungurahua province. Finally, in chapter three we find a concrete analysis of how and why the experience of women to come to the power of the cabildo in 2013, what were their obstacles and how they defeated a serie of problems, how they ended their process and the lessons that this left at the community. This is a systematization that collects the experience of a group of women, who despite social rejection and their triple workload, were able to carry out a process of leaders in the period 2013, achieving an effective response in terms of their management activities.
