Sumario: The present study was part of the preparation of a MANUAL OF TRAINING TEACHERS IN THE USE OF THE JAWS screen reader AND THE READER OF TEXTS lecto-TEX, addressed to 50 teachers of our school February 12 in the city of Zamora, for which Battista is a general objective: to update skills on new information technologies for people with visual disabilities as the jaws screen reader and the reader of texts lecto-tex. The techniques used to gather the necessary information to develop the present work were a survey and interview directed to teachers of the educational institution, the same that make reference to the knowledge that they got on the assisted technologies for persons with visual disabilities. t is concluded that in the teachers interviewed and surveyed there is ignorance of the existence of the assisted technologies that can be used in the teaching-learning process of persons with visual disabilities and to facilitate the educational process of inclusion that is already being done.
