This thesis aims to develop a model for the application of an environmental audit in clinical laboratories in El Distrito Metropolitano de Quito.
The procedure was based on the ISO 19011 standard Guidelines for Management Systems Auditing.
First, the opening meeting with management laboratory and all personnel involved in the development of the audit was conducted; then we proceeded to prepare the preliminary planning program in order to establish objectives, scope and the methodology that will be used according to the results of the meeting.
With the information of the previous phase, the auditors proceeded to prepare the audit program for the implementation phase, in which some working papers were performed to determine the degree of compliance with internal controls and legal regulations applicable to clinical laboratories.
With the results of the implementation phase, us as auditors could develop more working sheets in which we rely to write an audit report and a monitoring matrix of the recommendations made throw this test.
Finally we proceeded with the closing meeting in which we delivered the results obtained in the audit, some recommendations and a monitoring matrix that was made to be used as an internal tool for future audits. |
