Sumario: In Ecuador, it is estimated that 8.65% of the country's children (490,383) are at risk of losing parental care, and those who have already lost it, suffer from systematic rights violations. SOS Children's Villages of Quito is an independent, nongovernmental organization, which serves a population of 5,000 children in the foster care program, distributed in 77 households in 6 villages in the provinces of Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, Ibarra, Portoviejo and Esmeraldas. Guarantee housing, education, health, food and clothing, based on a family model that promises to protect and ensure the physical and emotional needs of girls, children, youth and adolescents who lack the parental care or family abandonment, orphanhood or violation of their rights. This work is complemented by programs foster care, family strengthening and community development, which aims to prevent child abandonment, through the development of techniques and methodologies families care of children of neighborhoods and communities. The lack of a donor profile and discontinued income from individual donors, generated a high degree of dependence and uncertainty, limiting the ability of attracting and retaining them. To achieve this goal the current donor and the donor attractive, frequency and reasons affecting the donation, and identify strategies that allow us to raise awareness, build and maintain relationships with corporate donors will be determined.
