At present several countries are observing to Ecuador for his enormous renewable energetic potential, especially the ones concerning about wind power.
There are not meticulous studies and measurements that have been done along the country related with the implementation of wind farm to catch the wind energy.
Recently there have been studies of the wind potential of the country, explaining the possible wind potential zones. Although the study shows important wind information, the method used does not represent the reality of the measurements.
For a supported development in the exploitation of this energetic resource, it is a condition necessary to continue a deeply study of the wind in the different zones of the country. For the above mentioned, is considered to be fundamental involving new professional with the new technologies of energetic conversion of renewable sources
Inside the national panorama related to the wind exploitation, there are glimpsed needs to supply consumption isolated of the net. Taking advantage of the draughts and the winds in mountainous zones of rural sectors to generate electricity, it would allow satisfying basic energetic consumption in communities isolated and limited of this basic service. |
