The present investigation aims to the recognition of the different Inclusive / Exclusive forms existent within the Career of Philosophy and Pedagogy of the Salesian Polytechnic University; in other words, this case study seeks to reduce exclusive indices, and on the other hand, tries to promote inclusive measurements within the underlying and structural domains. Therefore, this study attempts to recognize which are the processes that limit or favor the different social interactions in the educational context, in a way that allows to face this problem. As stated above, this research used the group interview method with all participants in the Philosophy and Pedagogy Career, with the purpose of reaching out a bidirectional dialogue, which facilitates obtaining information directly from the involved sources; it is worth mentioning that the proposed study has contextual limitations due to the collective nature of the interviews. In short, this case study is based on the analysis of the perceptions of those involved, in order to improve the contextual development of the institution. Among the obtained results, I would like to underline that the Salesian Polytechnic University, despite being one of the most inclusive colleges, still presents high levels of exclusion in structural and underlying forms, such as: Clothing, exclusion because of university careers, socioeconomic conditions, among others. |
