The development of this research theme has been carried out in order to analyze the factors, elements or components that affect work activities of flower companies through implementing the Ecuadorian Technical Standard FlorEcuador, specifically those companies in the province of Pichincha.
The research was divided into several stages which allowed generating a sequential and logical organization, in order to obtain more accurate results and to approximate certainty. The first step was a study of the current stage of the flower industry in the country, which means, to the national level, factors such as demographic, political, social, etc. regarding to work activities; in the second step, a deeper study was made for the particular situation in the province of Pichincha, the main aspects that were founded: that it is the province with the highest level of production with an important difference compared to the rest; the trade situation has been favored with steady growth and outstanding, so, companies have been demanding increasingly of local workforce. |
