This research deals with the construction of social ties in a multicultural
context, considering the child population of Barrio San José I of the Cutuglagua
parish. The qualitative methodology developed in the research process has been
Guided by the Participatory Action Research, that involves not only the
epistemological construction but also the commitment to contribute to the
transformation of the social dynamics of children with whom he has developed the
job.
One of the central axes working is the Link Theory, developed by E.P.
Riviere, to understand the group phenomena, cultural phenomena and behaviors as
visible expressions of the constructions of the inner world of individuals, whereas the
relationship between individual and society , external world and the internal world is
marked by dependence and mutual influence.
It understands the context from Bourdieu´s theoretical proposal regarding the
social space and habitus taking into account the social spaces in this case: family,
community and school, that constitute places confluence of cultural aspects,
economic, social and symbolic.
Regarding multiculturalism, following Guerrero (2011), it is presented as a
political proposal against hegemonic, that part of a recognition of diversity into a
dialectical relationship between cultures, breaking the structures of cultural and
symbolic domination and unequal exercise of power. |
