Given the importance of the indigenous population and their contribution to national development but also agrarian problems present in them, was raised this research in order to analyze in a specific case, Pesillo the Indian community in Cayambe, how agricultural production as a proposed income generation and efficient use of productive resources, has contribute or community development.
Then carried out a survey of information regarding the social, identity, economically productive, and systemic policy community (Arocena, 2001) to show or at least have an idea of the kind of development that has taken shape in the last two decades (1990-2010). An important finding was to verify that the community is beginning to guide its path and its long-term vision, based on the proposal of Sumak Kawsay, in which are other ways of living, production, relationship, etc. |
