ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION
It is a set of electrical devices that comprise of an electrical system of power; their main
functions are: to transform tensions and to derive circuits.
Transformer of Power
The transformer is a static electrical machine that transferee the energy from a system to
another one by means of two coils connected mutually, by effects of magnetic fields.
The transforming of power are those that are used within substations, to transmit or to
distribute electrical power in capacities superior to the 500 KVA or more than 46 KV, the
power, the voltages between terminals and the currents of this type of transforming are
defined in agreement to norms. |
