This paper introduces the reader to the Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) international scenary, providing information related to PPPs’ origin and development to date. Furthermore, the author gives her opinion about some relevant features of the current Peruvian PPP Law focusing on public initiative PPP projects. Moreover, to understand the current worldwide PPP scope, the author presents some government actions to incentive private sector participation in PPPs. To conclude, the author shares her final considerations. |
