This article is a reection on the noble and hard action of teaching, having Saint Thomas Aquinas philosophical thinking as inspiring source. What is teaching about and, above all, what do we teach for? What is it intended to educate in the human being and who is the responsible for this process? This is a responsibility that depends not only on the student himself but also on the family, especially in early stages, and the institutions with their professors and teachers who are the ones in charged of helping in this process through the educability or the capacity to influence the student positively aiming at a unique contribution to the integral human being development in its growing phase. |
