Sumario: The discoloration of teeth arises from various causes, which differ in appearance, severity and types of treatments. Some authors have reported that, in most cases non-vital teeth whitening is faster than vital teeth, which will depend on the time of permanence of the discoloration. In other words, there will be better results in recent discolorations than on older ones, where most likely will not observe entirely successful, arriving lately into a relapse. The purpose of this paper is to present several questions taking into account different techniques and materials used during the non-vital teeth bleaching.
