Sumario: This article is a record of textual production on Peruvian colonial architecture between 1919 and 1930. In the process we have tried to integrate both historiographical and architectural production being, both defined by the specific dynamics of the peruvian society in that time. In particular, by the ideological currents transmitted from the power and responses in the same plane, generated by the society through its intellectuals. We know that these texts were written from different perspectives and disciplines : history, art history and architectural theory. Our analysis has taken into account various approaches, so that its results will show the course of thinking about architectural production in relation to the objective and subjective conditions of the time period in which it was made . The texts analyzed are those written in our country, selected according to the importance they acquired in the formation of the architectural thinking of the time, given its presence in academia, in the training of both professional architects as the art history and in the proper exercise of project activity.
