Sumario: The consumption and the saving have been analyzed principally by the Comportamental Theory and the Standar Theory where in this last emphasizes the behavior of a rational being who takes decisions with great capacity of analysis what in the reality is not always possible owed principally to the restrictions by the market, for example, an offer limited in units or time between others. This type of restrictions are very common in real life and it is what a practical model doesn´t allow to find on behalf of the standard theory and that is where creates the need to find another type of analysis that could explain the complex behaviors of the decision making of the human being this principal reason has motivated this study in order to evaluate the validity of the Standar Theory for the middle class of the people of Bogota or if instead the Comportamental Theory can give us an explanation more real to the behaviors in the conducts of consumption and saving of the above mentioned population. Important results exist between others that the young people (30 years old) are more inclined to the consumption while the adults (60 years old) are more inclined to the saving opposite to the hypothesis of the Standard Theory and confirming the statements made by Richard Thaler when he affirms that the conduct of consumption of the adults tends more to the saving and not to the expense demonstrating the nearness that has with the Comportamental Theory to the economic reality.
