The De Cero a Siempre strategy, proposed and carried out by the national government, allows the development of traditional models deployed by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare for early childhood in the country. Although its implementation, through the comprehensive development centers, facilitates the execution of objectives, rules and fulfillments comprised therein, there is no knowledge of its execution in the most remote places of the country; therefore, it was necessary to systematize the experience at the Comprehensive Development Center Atardeceres y Luceros in Solita, Caquetá, Colombia. De Cero a Siempre represented a positive change in economic and social aspects, as it allowed the transition from a community home model to a center model to offer better conditions for teachers (in the economic aspect) and for children (in the social aspect). In addition, it made the planning and regulation of processes more organized and exposed limitations for comprehensive care of early childhood, which serves as a feedback for future models. |
