This paper is an approach to the rural reality of Colombia, starting from the potentialities of the international movement for a fair trade. It is the result of a careful reflection on what could and should be the start of a good study about the role of Colombian and Latin American Fair Trade in a hypothetical scenario of post-armed conflict. Given the relevance of the current political situation and the dialogue process, this article shows one way of building peace: the accompaniment of a major socioeconomic movement of displaced families during their reintegration into productive rural fabrics. The process of returning these families is now a challenging test for the construction, from the ground, of new relationships of peace. What would be the contribution of fair trade organizations to this process? This article gives some insight into a few possible answers. |
