Sumario: The objective of this qualitative case study is to interpret the processes on interaction between the student and the teacher at the Javeriana University Nursing Department, in orden to understand the formative procedures that happen in the Superior Education. In this case study we had the participation of 38 students from the Nursing Department with ages between 22 years old and 48 years old, from different socioeconomic environments. An important part of the group has responsabilities in medical care institutions, from volunteers to nursing assistans. The rest of the group, bachelors just obtained their graduate diploma from high school education. The findings of the study show the transformations of the students in their knowledge and their bahave related with the interaction wiht the teacher. At the same time, the teachers show how trough the pedagogical action they contribute in different manners in this process.
