Sumario: The process of adaptation of higher education to the European context is highly relevant since it implies both a challenge and an opportunity for communication studies, as well as for communication strategies. Since 2006, a research line is being developed at the School of Social Sciences and Communication. Its goal is to get to know the evolution of university studies on communication strategies. This research line is focused on the possible academic and professional uses of the New Strategy Theory. This is a summary of both the process and the current outcomes of this work.
