This research project, engages through a case study the educational links between secondary education and higher education set out through COMFACAUCA SIEC – IntegratedEducation System, as a strategy for COMFACAUCA School and COMFACAUCA University Corporation – Unicomfacauca to design programs that allow the eleventh grade studentto link-up in higher education based in the study of professional and technical skills curriculums, to make them possible to continue their higher education and/or improve their work performance in the productive sector; based on this case we engage the educative joint policy between secondary education and higher education proposed by the Education Ministry. A survey was applied to eleventh grade students to identify the knowledge and expectations regarding the joint and top-level educational project, and interviews with school and university teachers were conducted to collect information that allowed us to generate as a conclusion, that for the development of the municipality of Puerto Tejada, context in which the institutions in question are present, is important to implement the joint between secondary education and higher education as a strategy to generate development opportunities. |
