The main objective of this research was to analyze the scope of the 1257 Act of 2008 by issuing rules awareness, prevention and punishment of all forms of violence and discrimination against women (implementation and effectiveness). Made by a descriptive study
in which we used the inductive method, making a documentary analysis of the information obtained. Thus, violence against women includes acts or omissions that can cause death or harm or suffering as well as physical, sexual, psychological, economic or property by the mere fact of being a woman, also, the threats, the impositions, arbitrary deprivation of liberty whether in the public or private sector environment. But discrimination also cause havoc on women, when she is excluded, distinguished or limited by gender nullifying the recognition as such, when you consider the equality of man and woman, human rights and fundamental freedoms to which he is entitled in politics, economics, society, culture and civil social context in which it operates. |
