This paper presents the process of developing a video game system. The function of the elements that are part of the system is to assess user skills in different areas of knowledge pertaining to the multimedia engineering program at the University of San Buenaventura. The scope of the project is to develop a series of games to assess user skills in three specific areas: Logical-numerical reasoning, problem solving ability and basic graphic design concept. Video games developed on the Unity Platform. In each game the user plays the character "Doug", who is represented by the original design of a "digital dog" created by designer Dario Bolivar, who currently teaches Multimedia Engineering program. Doug has to traverse different challenges divided into three stages. The project is designed to operate on Windows operating system. |
