Sumario: In Medellín approximately 6,000 tons / day of waste from construction and demolition (RCD) are generated. It is important to note that Medellin has twelve (12) dumps authorized by the secretary of planning and environmental authorities, and four (4) more without environmental authorization that today can not cope with the large amount of debris generated by the guild construction. Then the location of the main tailings authorized for disposal of waste from construction and demolition illustrated. Although currently several rules apply to assess the current issue and status of construction waste, regulate and sanction inadequate processes for handling, transport, use and disposal of debris, is still very poor because these processes are little known by the community and the authorities are not very demanding when compliance with the standard. Because of this, it is necessary to generate alternatives to reincorporate these residues to the productive cycle through transformation processes. Therefore, in this investigation residual brick collected from the waste dump high belén view from the Solarium construction as are Torre Angel and White Tower, in this case 30 kilos of brick were collected with adhered mortar was used, after a process grinding tablets were manufactured coating for civil works with different additions of waste. It was found that the tablets designed with these residues have characteristics and durability similar to conventional tablets resistance, whose dosage replacing 50% recycled aggregate (RCD) for natural aggregate (standard sand). These results suggest that if these wastes are introduced into tabletting mitigate the environmental impact and increase market competitiveness.-- Línea de Investigación: medio ambiente y territorio.-- Área: sostenibilidad.-- Tema: reuso de materiales
