This work aims to propose a pilot plan for urban and architectural requalification of Leon de Greiff Library Park in the city of Medellin carried from a neighborhood scale to a zonal scale. The methodological way used for research was qualitative and quantitative including a descriptive design, where the abstraction of textual and graphical information was handled; the construction of interviews, surveys and external information about the library park, this way considering the issue as a unit of analysis, identifying the general guidelines that project the theoretical approach founded by urban acupuncture for a clear projection of the pilot plan.
The diagnosis generated evidence that the general problems that take place in the area of Library Park La Ladera are due to a lack of urban articulation and well-maintained spaces, therefore it is proposed that discarded materials be recycled. In this way, we will transform these materials into spatial opportunities, setting a modulation in gabions to generate a program of social and recreational activities, by articulating the library Park La Ladera with the empty lot.
As an illustration of the architecture and proposed methodology, we are going to show an imagine of the project in general, showing its operation and real display, Likewise diagrams and photographs are going to be integrated which will lead the reader to a better interpretation of the written content, for that graphing tools and information extracted by the same library park were used, likewise digital information to be then analyzed in the thesis.-- Grupo de investigación: Hombre, proyecto y ciudad.-- Línea de Investigación: memoria identidad y cultura.-- Área: urbanismo.-- Tema: acupuntura urbana |
