Sumario: This is a qualitative and descriptive study, whose strength is based on the interpretative praxis that had as a main objective to investigate the discursive practices of young university students in Palmira (Valle, Colombia), when they are interacting in the social networks. This allowed us, among other things, to ratify that these young students find in the social networks, the opportunity to communicate without any burden, allowing them to freely adapt and recreate their language. To accomplish this, they use a variety of communication skills to create a way of writing and talking according to the characteristics of the digital ecosystems. As a result, these recursive practices stand out for being creative, dynamic and innovative. The legitimate reason of knowledge is to analyze the way of writing of these young students in the social networks related to the juvenile language whose main source of information came from the conversation that took place with a specific group of students at the faculty of economic sciences of Antonio Nariño University in Palmira Valle, Colombia, whose age varies between 19 to 25 years old, complemented by other students using WhatSapp.
