Sumario: This research identified the work´s senses of people outcast by violence in informal work. This sense is approached through inquiry on the importance attached to the work activity, the characterization of a person´s trajectory in the workplace and identifying the positioning achieved through this path; factors involved from the daily experiences in the person-work relationship and the dynamics established between people linked to the world of work in the informal labor category. The main objective was to identify the meaning attributed to working people who have been victims of armed conflict in the category of informality. They were conducted four interviews with people between 40 and 60 years old, played by informal activity as an economic input. Among the most important aspects of this study was found how work is an organizing and inclusive social tool to the individual and it is through this, how people organize their time, expenses, purchasing power and social dynamics, it´s how it takes a central place in people, therefore different kinds of work are being searched.
