Sumario: New technologies have forced companies to adapt to a different way of doing the activities that they usually did, these activities needed physical presence of people within the organization. Today it is very common to see companies that do not need all personnel within the facility to perform usual activities, an example can be Google, this great technology company employs people who can work and never go to the company. 20 years ago it was unthinkable that we could get to perform our work from a different installations of a company today with the technologies remote location this can be achieved, can be at home and at the same time at a meeting via video call, we can be in an open field while sending information of the work done. Now, we look at the history of how we came to have e-workers? What roles do? What their role within the organization? How companies select these people?
