Sumario: The current research addresses the relationship between self-regulation of learning and academic performance, focused on 11th grade students from a public school in the city of Cartagena de Indias. In the first instance, we applied the self-regulated learning inventory of Lindner, Harris & Gordon v. 4.01 to a sample composed of 155 students, in order to measure the level of self-regulation of learning. Next, the academic average was obtained and finally a Pearson correlation analysis of the variables was performed by IBM-SPSS STATISTICS in which it was determined that the correlation between these two variables is not statistically significant in this context.
