The objective of this research was to assess the agricultural and social situation of the Kashaama indigenous community, located in the state of Anzoategui in Venezuela. For this, a survey was conducted among forty farmers. Subsequently, the interpretation of the results was done by the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method. The first five components, which explain 70% of the total variations, were selected using the ACP. It was revealed that the most frequent factors were: farm size, crop type and performance. This type of study represents a practical foundation in relation to agricultural and social management which represents a starting point for formulating viable alternative solutions. |
