Sumario: In this paper we study the Argentinean working class real wage evolution between 1950 and the present. In general, the mainstream analysis of the Argentinean wages point the Dictartorship (1976-1983) as the breakpoint in its tendency to grow and the beginning of a persistent fall. In this sense, they support the idea of the neoliberal model as causing the decrease in the working class living conditions. One of the main results of our study support other Works that demonstrate that relative fall of real wage is source of extraordinary profits that compensate is sum with the land rent and the foreign debt the lack of competiveness of the capitals located in Argentina. We also show that this tendency does not end during the 2000s, even there is a wage recovery.
