This article is the result of research on the roles and beliefs of women regarding their role in the personal and social, in three women with different religious (Jehovah's Witness, Catholic and Christian) belief, in the city of Cali. This research is qualitative with a hermeneutical approach which allowed analyzing the characteristics of the role of three women in stratum 4, 5 and 6 university city of Cali, by two specific objectives: Identify the role (social and personal) three women with different religious beliefs and religious beliefs meet in the papers that develop the three women as their social and personal life. Through in-depth interviews as data collection technique and ethnographic perspective data concerning the roles that the three women with different religious beliefs on a personal level as a couple and mother were analyzed; socially, as parishioner worker, student and citizen; and personally, as a woman, partner and mother. He found that religious beliefs that are present in these roles are granted to God and the Bible as a manual of standards for relationships with others, sex and values as service and forgiveness, which govern their ways of behaving and his perspective on life. |
