Efecto del número de capas en las propiedades superficiales de recubrimientos Si/Ti/Zr obtenidos a partir de suspensiones sol-gel

This work shows the formation of monolayers, bi-layers, and tri-layers of ceramic coatings of the SiO2 -TiO2 -ZrO2 system, synthesized by the sol-gel method using Si(OC2 H5 ) 4 , Ti (OBu)4 and Zr (OC3 H7 ) 4 , EtOH, water, and 2,4 pentanedione. The study was conducted at concentrations of 10% Si, 70...

Sumario: This work shows the formation of monolayers, bi-layers, and tri-layers of ceramic coatings of the SiO2 -TiO2 -ZrO2 system, synthesized by the sol-gel method using Si(OC2 H5 ) 4 , Ti (OBu)4 and Zr (OC3 H7 ) 4 , EtOH, water, and 2,4 pentanedione. The study was conducted at concentrations of 10% Si, 70% Ti, and 20% Zr, as well as 10% Si, 20% Ti, and 70% Zr. The ceramic coatings were deposited on substrates of stainless steel AISI/SAE 304, using the immersion technique (dip-coating). The influence of the number of layers applied to the substrate was stated, in terms of roughness and adhesion of the films and micro hardness of the substratecoating interface.
