The following article corresponds to an analysis and a report of results of an empiric investigation performed at two intersections that will be impacted by the public works of SITM-MIO in Cali. The report answers two general questions: 1) What type of traffi c signals govern the public space in the intersections of 5th Street and 66th Avenue, and 36th Street and 46th Avenue in Cali?, and 2) What do citizens think about the way traffi c signals in these two intersections have been used? ' e study of traffi c signals was one of the strategies implemented by the group of researchers, who are the authors of this article, in order to discuss the raising of consciousness of the use of public space. |
