The following article is an approximation of culture and its influence on the economy, from the point of view of researchers authors of local economic development. The main purpose is to know as studies have concluded that culture is an engine of local economic development and enhancing economic growth in a region; starting from a theoretical and evolutionary study review of development, leading to the analysis of local economic development, examining its endogenous approach to finally embrace the culture within a region and influence on its economy, considering that culture is represented through cultural industries, these being generators of economic output; which leads to the conclusion that society has a set of own resources which are harnessed to become agents of their local economic development. |
