The Educational Evaluation System is fundamental within the learning processes, but this does not prevent it from being subjected to criticism due to its unidirectional character, numerical and quantifiable appraisal of learning. Considering this situation, the SIEE implemented in the Educational Institution Marco Fidel Suarez of Turbana, Bolívar was investigated under a qualitative approach of ethnographic cut, where the research tools were related to interviews and focus groups, in addition to the hermeneutic reading of documents and graphic organizers. The results of the SIEE implementation in the IEMFS show an Evaluation System that is considered useful, necessary and appropriate, even though there is little clarity on the part of the actors about the concept of Evaluation System, since they perceive it as more tool to record the results of learning in numerical terms. |
