Sumario: This investigation project has the proposal to build a theoretical path with the necessary aspects to ensure that the educational process is aimed at learning and understanding, for this, it start with a theoretical and epistemological construction of the concept of understanding, learning, among others, and it´s purpose is to present the method Teaching for Understanding EpC, as an alternative for the direction of educational training, in the way that all the knowledge learned is understood and applied in life, this from pedagogical approaches that relate to intellectual construction, emotional, social and spiritual knowledge and it´s transformation into other types of space that do not obey the traditional notion of learning and memorization within the classroom, and it has the Bethlemitas community as its focal point. In the first part the autobiography is presented, in which the author exposes the arguments that guided the author to choose the master's degree course, and the interest in the subject of education, later the research problem is presented and the theoretical foundation of the EpC, then it presents the antecedents and some reviews on related researches, and finally a statistical development is presented and the results disaggregated by components.
