To achieve the strengthening of the cultural identity of a city through architecture, is to
think about the imaginary of the city that its inhabitants have, through the activities
inherited from a people, rooted in their origins. It is in this way that there arises the felt
need of a population, which has been called through the history of the Musical City of
America, to take a step forward and seek the transformation of cultural scenarios that
support an immense legacy of music and folklore that they decorate all its inhabitants.
To incorporate to the city of Ibagué, an architectural piece that welcomes the musical
and artistic program developed in it; achieving a building thought of the individual
needs of each space, by characterizing its use, are powerful design premises to give way
to the adaptive comfort of its occupants to the interior, which through the rigorous
design from the envelope, can establish coherent relationships between the bioclimatic
variables that precede the space and in this way contribute to the building spaces of
quality both in the development of its activity, and in the reduction of energy consumption
of highly complex spaces, giving way to the CASA DE LA MUSICA -IBAGUÉ |
