Sumario: This work tries to announce the benefits and limitations of working capital management, through studies and measurements of the financial situation of companies such as: Mineros SA, Mineros Frisco, Buenaventura SA and Barrick Gold, which belong to the mining sector, dedicated especially to the exploitation of gold; verifying if in the last 5 years, the internal administration of each of the companies had contributed to the growth and development of these. The used methodology, it was based in evaluating the elements and technologies for a suitable management of the capital of work, using technical processes applied for the exploitation of this type of goods and services, achieving to determine that when current assets exceed current liabilities, the company has a positive net working capital and, on the contrary, when the current assets are lower than the current liabilities, the company has a negative net working capital. The used methodology, it was based in evaluating the elements and technologies for an adequate management of working capital, using technical processes applied for the exploitation of this type of goods and services, achieving to determine that when the current assets exceed current liabilities, the company has a positive net working capital and, on the contrary, when the current assets are lower than the current liabilities, the company has a negative net working capital.
