In the next project will be presented the alternative that will allow to recover the percentage of water that is in the process condensate, result of the operations in the ammonium nitrate plant of a fertilizer production company located in Cartagena, which contains traces of ammonia above the regulation in Decree 1594 of 1984 with respect to the dumping of industrial wastewater. To give solution to the above, we propose the design of a distillation column that will allow to recover 99% of the water contained in the tower feeding, separating the traces of ammonia contained in the condensate. This scenario can be analyzed by using the Aspen Process simulation Tool "HYSYS", contemplating the operational alternatives for the treatment of the currents involved and also obtain a model that allows to comply with the Specifications needed to reuse current products, at the end of the simulation was expected to obtain a distillation flow whose composition is 99% ammonia, thus releasing the current of funds from the contamination that this substance represents and Recovering the water from this operation, this was achieved by optimizing the initial design by means of a suggested energy integration for the purposes of this project |
