Sumario: This article deals with the understanding of diversity and difference which emerge from the Doctoral research paper entitled “The educational attention of children and young people as having educational special needs: A look from integration and inclusion.” In this research paper are presented (a) the theoretical and pragmatic positions which take the actors of the institutions where this study was carried out (b) the relation established between these actors and the “proposals” of integration and inclusion, which are understood here as “the possibilities of inclusion of those which are “out of place”, the only place where they could participate, would be the school.”
